Missouri State Park Adventure

This was an unexpectedly fun painting to commemorate and family who, in the spirit of adventure, quit jobs and got an RV and made a commitment to visit as many of the Missouri State parks in a year. Slowing down the pace of life and unplugging, getting outside, staying dirty longer than you normally would- all good reminders that there is beauty all around us. It was a happy project to be a part of! Cheers to adventure off the grid!

Charming little home in Maine

Just finishing up a sweet little cottage up in Maine. I have heard their Autumn months are worth the visit. Perhaps we'll have to arrange some plans. I love the simple structure to the house and imagine whisperings of the tide steady in the distance.

Recent infographic gifts

A few of these were actually gifted to other couples as wedding gifts. Really unique and personalized catalogues of the early days before they collect years and years more of memories.

Wedding gift to the parents of the bride and groom

This was an unusually thoughtful gift from a bride a groom to their parents on their own wedding day. Each is custom painting of the places where their parents were married.

The Building Blocks of Fun

This is the second set of these I've made. I shot for some pretty muted colors such that they could be passed around the family even after this little dude is through with them.

Dip Dyed Regal Desk

I like the stately nature of how this desk turned up. I wanted to keep an element of the natural wood and thus kept the feet neutral. The drawers are lined in a muted jungle scene paper. Original hardware kept in tact that brings out a classic brass finish.

Homes from last Christmas

There were a couple Christmas gift requests last year for homes to be documented. One of them was for a previous client in who's home hangs one my my most favorite paintings I sold and shipped down to Austin, TX a few years back.  Another is a dear friend's family home she grew up in that had since been sold. Her parents dreamed of building it together when they were in high school.
